This consultation ran from Monday 9th July until Friday17th August 2012. Feedback was considered during the consultation and in preparation for the Membership Board Policy Committee meeting on 15th August. These proposals were submitted to the Membership Board on 6th September for ratification .

Not sure if this is possible, or if its lack of occurrence is of my own doing, but it would be helpful if when a reply is added to a comment, the originator of that comment should be informed by email. Given the shortage of time we all suffer from, having to go back and review comments is added workload.

Sorry Len,
I had carelessly forgotten to enable comment notification for unauthenicated users. Sorry to mess you (and no doubt others) about. I was then sent a message saying there was no way to input an annonymous commenters email address, now also fixed, sorry again.
The plan is to move to authenticated users for comments when we have single sign on to get away from the annoying spam problem. An alternative is to make it easier for authenticated users. Decision deferred until we can test single sign on.
I've deleted some of our correspondence to tidy up the page, I hope that's OK.

This may just be me but just having had new lenses in both eyes I hope not.
It is taking me up to 6 attempts to get past this 'human' check. They seem to have changed the images now to one written by a 2 year old. Is there a better option?

The Policy Committee met today (Wednesday 15th) and based on input to the consultation agreed on a few small changes to the proposals. The changes are in yellow and to distinguish them from other changes are in CAPITALS. The changes are:
