we need to consider how this fits with governance expectations on BCS (and it’s limited company) around recruitment transparency.
A summary of role and recruitment type for all roles may suffice. Most roles are already advertised (e.g. VP) and recommended (Nomination Committee to the appropriate board) or ‘elected from within their number’ (e.g. chair of council), others are ‘volunteers are sought from within the committee/board’. A full written process for each role seems excessive.

I don't understand why this isn't already a requirement, and why it isn't already done. A few paragraphs on the website should suffice...surely if a post is advertised, its no big secret how an officer to fill the post will be selected?
