I assume it is the Branch being informed of organisations (not individual members) that have organisational membership of BCS. E.g. the Scottish Government, acas, etc.. As part of this a way of communicating with a contact within an OM would be beneficial.

We currently have a Coventry new members email distribution list, but no differentiation is made between individual and organisational members, apparently this is updated on a rolling basis, i.e. new members roll on, then when they are no longer "new" they roll onto the Coventry Members list, but there is no "best" time to welcome them, so I've arbitrarily chosen to email new members on the last Tuesday of each month...it would be better if they got a welcome letter and "here is a link to new member webinars" as they joined.

MGs have great opportunity to support OMs if they know about them and have a way to contact them. Also, OMs can have presences in multiple sites across the UK so they need to highlight which branches may be relevant to them.
