Margaret Ross

Margaret Ross Emeritus Professor of Software Quality at Southampton Solent University who has been involved in the BCS for many years in various roles, these currently include BCS Council and Trustee Board, Chair of Hampshire and Vice Chair of Quality and e-learning SG's, Secretary of the GreenIT SG and committee member of BCS Women.

She has been Conference Director for the BCS Quality SG's Software Quality Management Conference and the INSPIRE educational conference for over 20 years.

She was awarded Hon FBCS, BCS John Ivison Award, an Honorary Doctorate by the University of Staffordshire and an MBE at Buckingham Palace, presented by Prince Charles for Services to Higher Education.

Bob Thurlby

After a career with ICL/Fujitse and BT Global Services, working with their clients in the global power sector, Bob is currently exploring the use of System Dynamics methods and tools for IS/IT and business risk management.

Motassim Thupsee

Motassim is a member of the Mauritius Section.

James is the Chair and Founder of the e-Learning Specialist Group, member of Community Board.  James is a Past Chair of the Belfast Branch and a past member of Council.

Haiyan Wu

Haiyan is a new member to the Best Practice Committee, she is the new Chair of BCS Young Professionals Group (YPG), a member of Council, Community Board and the Secretary and Community Secretary for BCS West London Branch.  Based in London and has worked within the Epidemiology and Public Health in academic/ research institutions and government departments for a number of years, moving onto a role within health and social care surrounding the processing personal confidential data and risks surrounding this
